Here is a complete table of contents for my Web site. In my essay "I Believe this about Acting," is just some of what I learned about the urgent, needed comprehension of the art of acting and the human self. In "Hamlet Once More, Different" I describe hearing Eli Siegel read this play in 1963, and his new understanding of what Shakespeare intended. There are also reports of three lectures Mr. Siegel gave on Richard II. He is the greatest Shakespearean critic I know--enabling people to understand, enjoy, benefit from Shakespeare's works more than ever before.

It gives me great pleasure to reprint Mr. Siegel's "Aesthetic Realism; or Is a Person an Aesthetic Situation?," an explanation he gave to Lewis Nichols of the New York Times Book Review during an interview.
You will also see here the classes I love to teach: the classes on Acting and on Marriage--and, how immeasurably useful Aesthetic Realism is to people's lives, including, so much, my own. My link to Aesthetic Realism Seminars includes the seminars of There Are Wives, the consultation trio in which I teach with my colleagues Barbara Allen and Pauline Meglino.
There is here, too, a beautiful story by my late husband, Sheldon Kranz, "My Mother Was a Girl," which represents so deeply what he learned from Aesthetic Realism about art and life, in classes with Eli Siegel. I know he would be thrilled for people to read it across America on the Internet! And there is much more!
